The good. The panel is very well made and put together. Has a very nice feel and has buttons to keep it folded when closed. The quality feels great. Will work awesome for full sun charging of phones and other items at 12 watts power in my findings.
The bad. The power output should be stated in the advertisement. The panel will only put out max of 15 watts via usb c and 12 watts usb a. Plus I was only able to get max 12 watts out of the panel full sun on usb c and could not plug another item into usb a or it would take power from usb c item. So don’t expect to get more than 12 watts at a time. This panel is more like a 12 watt panel. In my experience.
I initially got the 400w version as part of a bundle with the F2000 on a prime day deal. (To get a good deal, wait for sales such as Prime day or Black Friday)
But the 400w solar panel is quite big and heavy and has a bit of a design flaw. The leg stands that fold out should have been made shorter because they just hit the ground when you try to fold them out, which makes the whole panel a quite precarious to set up! What you can do is tilt it slightly forward as you pull each leg backwards, but it's still not a great design in this respect and sometimes the whole thing just flops over when you are setting it up. They switched to snaps to lock the stands at various angles and this does work pretty well since you can adjust them first to lock the stands, and then angle the panel backwards or forwards.
Mainly, the 400w one is a bit too big and bulky to conveniently move and set up. This is why the 200w version is easier to work with. It's the same design, but weighs less than half as much and is just overall way easier to move and set up. You are better off with two 200w panels than one 400w. Even to transport, two 200w panels seems more doable than the one 400w, which is huge. That's what I ended up with, two 200w panels.
If you have an Anker power station, these panels are optimized for it since they have a high voltage. They are also water resistant so you could even leave them out in the rain without issue.
I recommend the 200w Anker Solix solar panel.
Super sturdy, looks waterproof and well constructed. Tried it indoors and a very low voltage, outdoors very near the capacity (100w). Impressive. worth adjusting the angle, it does make a difference.
I ordered two of these 400 W solar panels. They're super easy to move around, and they were very helpful in charging batteries during a three-week power outage recently.
So far all is working with my Anker Solix f2600 and equipment was well packaged with a nice Thankyou fro the employees., still have to instal the solar panels but no rush the f2600 works great as a UPS system.
